Behaviour and Standards
At Eastwood Academy we our proud of the behaviour and standards of our pupils.
We firmly believe that a calm, respectful, positive and inclusive environment is essential for effective learning and personal growth. Our approach to behaviour is rooted in relational practice and a trauma-aware ethos, recognising that strong, positive relationships between staff and pupils are the foundation of a successful school community.
We maintain high expectations for all pupils in terms of uniform, conduct, attitude, and engagement - both inside and outside of the classroom.
These expectations are underpinned by "The Eastwood Way", which is built around our six core values: Compassion, Courage, Inclusivity, Integrity, Resilience and Respect.
Pupils are encouraged to embody these values in everything they do, helping to create a culture of mutual respect, accountability, and ambition.
